Hi my Name is William Acevedo i was shopping in FYE in the Citrus Park Mall when there was a sign that said 50% off clear bags and blind boxes as a person that dont know bout clear bags i know clear boxes for pops. It can be confusing i talked to an employee then the manager JJ he was rude and said sorry i gotta read it write i asked him can i just buy a couple cause it can be misleading he said no. I will let you know i will be on YELP and other social media business sites to explain how un professional this store is thank you and have a goodnight. William

I tried to return and item for another item which was cheaper than the original item purchased. My item purchased was originally$39.99, I paid $35.99 after all the discounts and the item I was swapping it for was $29.99.

After all the discount was $26.99. The refund I was only getting was 0.47cents. I told the rep to returned everything but he kept scanning the item I was swapping it for instead of the original item. I asked to refund my merchandise.

I lost at least $8-9 with the transaction was made since he never refunded my merchandise but kept it. I tried explaining but we were not getting any results. I tried to call FYE customer service support but I wasn't getting anywhere since the company do not have a number that focuses on service but yet you have all the numbers the for VIP backstage pass. I just got ripped off by one of FYE stores but no one can help.

Receipts attached. Not sure if I am wasting my time on here

I signed up for the free membership a few months back, was never told it was going to be a paid membership, when I asked if they would take my money, they told me only if I signed up for it online. I never signed up for anything and they had no way of cancelling my supposed membership the they could find records for.

They used my card I had used in the store. That this coupon will give you 10% off was a scam to get information from me and used my card information to take several months of payments of $11.99. When i was finally able to get my stuff cancel from being irate on the phone which I hate to be, they said to continue my membership and I get so much in savings which was the same as cash which should be good. They didn't even have my correct zip code what makes them think I want to keep a membership I never signed up for.

After haggling to cancel my supposed membership they were going to refuse a refund. I managed to haggle to get at least one $11.99 refund from these scammers but that's months of this happening, when I asked about the money they have been taking from me they said that there was nothing they can do.

Next time, Im going to record my experience as proof because this was unbelievable.Im not happy at all with this experience. The only good that came out of it is that I found the DVD I was looking for, but I probably couldve found it cheaper online somewhere else.

There were only two employees there.. both acted like they were working at a high-end retail store! I didnt know that FYE turned into a mostly anime related store, but that wasnt what bothered me.. What really bothered me was how the cashier, Ian, was so rude to me.

First he tried to up-sell me more by telling me Oh its $5 if you purchase something else, otherwise its $6.99.. I said no thanks. Then he seemed to get pissy and asked for my email.. Again, I said no thanks because I get enough spam and Im literally only here for this one item, I never shop at this store, let alone step into the mall without a purpose for shopping.

He then said oh its for the receipt.. so I stupidly gave it to him.. now today, the next morning, I get an email with the header WELCOME TO FYE! .so he lied to me..

I got a paper receipt, and I knew after I walked out of there exactly what happened. Next time, Im saying NO without the thanks because apparently being nice gets you walked all over by some miserable old man wearing hot topic attire.

Ex employee pissed

I used to work at the Grandville location ever since it opened back up from the Covid shutdown. I was hired on the spot with no experience.

The manager didn't ask any questions but when I could start. A few days later I started and received absolutely no training. When I started working I got sick to my stomach when I tried to clean the entire store. I could tell no one cleaned at all and when I did the towels were pitch black from only one spot.

No one even cleaned the machines for Covid. A few weeks into working there the manager suddenly left without a word and the assistant manager soon after. I was left alone opening the store again with no training as an associate. When a new batch of managers came in the assistant manager hired his friend and I got promoted to 4th key, again I wasn't trained at all by the assistant manager.

I was treated with disrespect and acted as the assistant manager's and 3rd key's laborer. I had to force my breaks (I'm a minor) and was over worked. I even got screamed at by the assistant manager in front of the entire store because I had to move which meant that I had to get a new job. The assistant manager is a male and I'm a minor with PTSD (I told the managers that I have it) I went into a break down after.

I called corporate to report it but they didn't do anything to help. The managers would also walk off talking to one another and if it was just one that day they'd be on their phone the whole time. Again I had to some how clean the store at the same time making sure people wouldn't catch Covid, whilst watching the register. I've always been early to my shifts and never called off.

But when I tried to call off (I got the flu during Covid) it was a big deal even when the other staff barely showed up. The customers got scared and didn't come up to me even though I was the only one at register. The assistant manager also tried to hire more people, but all of the people hired in walked off. They were told they would have a certain job title.

Then when they started their first day the assistant manager put them in as an associate or a key holder and not the listed manager position. The managers and 3rd key are doing things during work that isn't allowed in the work place.

This place is impossible to call unless u r a back sludge member. No phone number for complaints. My order came all smashed up and totally destroyed and worthless now. Will report to Consumer Affairs. How does a place that sells collectibles send them in just a box with no protection. FUNKO STORE and HOT TOPIC know how 2 pack FUNKOS. NEVER AGAIN

Ordered a classical cd 10 days ago and paid extra for expedited shipping. Package has been floating around the postal service back and forth between two states because of an incorrect address on the shipping label printed by FYE. I checked the shipping address on my account, and that is correct. FYE refuses to respond. Do not deal with them

Complaint about an employee harassing me

An employee of FYE is harassing me online and posting negative comments because I uninvited him to a convention. His name is Tyler Harris a manager of FYE in Cincinnati. He's never used my business and barely even knows me. This is unacceptable behavior from a supposed professional.

I have been trying to cancel my membership for months. The person on the other end of the phone was not helpful ignored what I was saying and kept giving sales pitches. After a very frustrating conversation they said my membership was canceled. Once again Im hoping it is.

Horrible management and distract manager not doing anything.

I was the assistant manager at an FYE, but I was just fired because of an attitude I had I was given a second chance and without it being an hour I was fired. The store manager is disrespectful and abuses his power.

He gives himself all the hours and left 3 employees without any hours, many were upset. He smokes inside the store, vapes in-front of customers and curses at them. I was told it's been like this since he was hired. He does shipment 30 days after it's come in or never puts it out like CDs and DVDs.

I was frustrated with him because he would leave the store and disappeared for hours and when you'd put him in his place he would get mad at you and act very childish. It annoys me very much that the district manager has been notified before my arrival about the store manager's actions and more of what the store manager does, but yet never does anything. I was told the store manager threw a tantrum in the store during hours, throwing things on to the grown and breaking objects in the back. I lost a job because the district manager cared more about the store manager, and I was the one who suffered for speaking the truth, it was ridiculous because I know he is the district manager never told corporate about it.

Because I highly doubt corporate would want a person who disrespects the employees harassed them and if he doesn't get his way he will fire you.
