Sends Wrong Products, Impossible to Refund
I had ordered a few CDs from the FYE website, and they arrived in multiple packages. The first package was okay, but the second contained DVDs that I never ordered.
The DVDs had been sent an affiliate of theirs (Wherehouse), and therefore had a different order number and could not be refunded through FYE. Because I had never actually ordered anything directly from Wherehouse, they didn't have any order record for me on file.
So now I'm stuck with a DVD I never ordered, and I can't get a refund for the CD that never arrived. This company should be investigated for their online shipping practices, because something is very wrong about the way they're running things.

Okay I had never shopped at FYE until last Monday. After waiting fifteen minutes, I had to go to the back of the store to grab someone who was working the floor to help me check out. The man was nice and after he scanned my movie he asked me if I wanted the VIP backstage pass. He told me that it would allow me to get 10% off every purchase and it was free. I said "are you sure? its free?" and he said "yes it's free, so why not". So I said sure. Later that night, THANKFULLY, I read over my receipt only to find a message saying I would be charged $11.99 a month. This is ridiculous especially because I asked the man again to make sure it was free. So I called customer care who said my account won't pop up in their system until two more days. I called back two days later. After requesting to cancel my card, the representative went on for about 5 minutes on a different cheaper option and that I would only have to pay $5 a month. I asked him " so can I cancel my card or no?". He replied with some anger, " well I don't understand why you would sign up for this card if you were only going to cancel two days later". I said, increasingly frustrated ," well I don't understand why I was misinformed and lied to that this card would be completely free and I would get 10% off every time I use it". After a bit longer of the representative talking about different options, he finally started to cancel my card. He even gave me a cancelation number. Later that day I got an email saying my card was now active and I should visit the website. I can't call customer care now because they are not open of the weekend.
What made the situation worse is that my mom saw my VIP card on my desk and accidentally used it today. The card was suppose to be deactivated but for some reason it worked. I am utterly frustrated with this store and will never buy anything thing hear again. Looking at the other complaints I see this is a common thing.
I recommend that if someone buys from here, pay with cash. I am extremely disappointed with this store and its employees. I need this fixed now.
DO NOT SHOP HERE. YOU WILL NOT BE INFORMED OF CREDIT CARD CHARGES AND WILL BE LIED TO ABOUT "FREE" CARDS.

Pissed off customers

Also, I've heard of people being signed up for something without knowing and I'd like to make sure I am not. I don't want ANYONE messing with my credit card account.
Also, when I went to the cancellation website, it is not recognizing the information that I gave the female cashier. I want it cancelled before I get screwed over.
I'm never going there again. Can anyone give me any advice?

My First and Last Movie Purchase At FYE
I went to the FYE store at the mall a couple weeks ago and bought a season of Doctor Who. The clerk was complaining about her job, so I figured something was up.
I got home and was going to watch the DVD, but when I opened the case, there was NO DVD! I went right back to the store and talked to the manager. The manager was so rude and he was doing nothing but making phone calls the whole time I was trying to talk to him. I eventually got sick of it and just walked out of the back room, which is right when I noticed that he stopped calling people.
A person that was looking for a job went to the back room a minute later, which is exactly when he started talking on the phone all over again! There is no way I am EVER going back to that store!

So sorry too hear about your experience. I am agreeing about the backstage pass.
No company should put pressure onto any employee or manager or customer that does not want the backstage pass. I am an customer of theirs and seen the customers, the employees and the managers get treated like trash and garbage because of this.
This is so bad and sad to see any company do this to any employee or manager or customer. It's an terrible and horrible outcome!
To all of you putting this person down, you should be ashamed of yourselves. You should go *** yourselves.
You should put yourself into this person's shoes. You should imagine yourselves going into an place where you love too go and not get treated like crap.. When the employees ask about the backstage pass over and over again, that is something the customer does not want. It's pressure.
This goes for even if the employee have pressure onto the sales, they should never take it out onto the customers, as long as the customers are not doing anything wrong. So shut up!This is too Average Joe and Make My Day 2016

It makes people not want too work or shop there. At my location where i am at, there is an manager that treats the employees and the customers like *** I have seen so many employees and customers walk out because of that!

Perhaps you shouldn't be watching too many movies anyway. You might want to take an English course at your local community college instead.
